Die Hard

Nothing gets an action-movie lover in the Christmas spirit better than Die Hard. We’re excited to present the original John McClane masterpiece in partnership with the Hamilton Film Festival.

Get ready for trivia, prizes, costumes, and an awesome movie! Yippee ki-yay!

New York City policeman John McClane (Bruce Willis) is visiting his estranged wife (Bonnie Bedelia) and two daughters on Christmas Eve. He joins her at a holiday party in the headquarters of the Japanese-owned business she works for. But the festivities are interrupted by a group of terrorists who take over the exclusive high-rise, and everyone in it. Very soon McClane realizes that there's no one to save the hostages -- but him.

Who’s your favourite character - is it Alan Rickman’s skulky bad guy; is it Reginald VelJohnson’s lovable sidekick cop; Alexander Godunov’s hunky terrorist; or John McClane’s sharp-tongued take-a-beating hero? We love ‘em all.

Get dressed up in your best action hero (or villain) costume and join us December 21 at 8pm for some naughty Christmas joy.

Complete with costume contest and prop bags, get ready for Moulin Rouge Zoetic-style. Bring the gang and do it up.

Set in 1899, this musical drama features Ewan McGregor as a young poet who defies his father by moving to "the absinthe-soaked, amoral, bohemian" neighbourhood of Montmatre. It is here that he meets the diminutive artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (John Leguizamo) and is drafted to write a nightclub spectacular. In this seedy world of sex and drugs, he begins a passionate but ultimately doomed love affair with the most famous courtesan (Nicole Kidman) in Paris.

greatest-sing-along.jpg

You asked, we delivered! It's finally here - The Greatest Showman Sing-Along! What a great way to end our Sing-Along season - with a bang! This Oscar-nominated, Golden Globe-winning musical is the beautiful, dazzling story of PT Barnum's circus beginnings with the catchiest music you can imagine, starring Hugh Jackman and Michelle Williams.

Plus, we've got prop bags available to take your experience to the next level! Prop Bags include novelty items relevant to the film, edible treats and fun collectibles!

We will of course have our Signature Cocktails available and be sure to dress up for a Circus Costume Contest!

The story:
Orphaned, penniless but ambitious and with a mind crammed with imagination and fresh ideas, the American Phineas Taylor Barnum will always be remembered as the man with the gift to effortlessly blur the line between reality and fiction. Thirsty for innovation and hungry for success, the son of a tailor will manage to open a wax museum but will soon shift focus to the unique and peculiar, introducing extraordinary, never-seen-before live acts on the circus stage. Some will call Barnum's wide collection of oddities, a freak show; however, when the obsessed showman gambles everything on the opera singer Jenny Lind to appeal to a high-brow audience, he will somehow lose sight of the most important aspect of his life: his family. Will Barnum risk it all to be accepted?
