A message from the founders...

The Zoetic Company Ltd. is a team of passionate people with a vision to empower and connect people through creative endeavours.

We are just beginning to uncover our important role in this community, city, and region as awareness spreads and more people become involved in what we’ve started here.

We’ve come to see ourselves as stewards who are, in a sense, here to care for and improve this treasured building and its nearly 100-year heritage, and continue to work towards its future sustainability. We value our outside partnerships and see collaboration as an essential element of success in the professional creative arts.

We directly employ over a dozen staff under our roof, through the theatre operation alone. This team has been essential to our success and growth, as well as our culture and “vibe” - the backbone of the Zoetic experience.

Here are some interesting statistics that we are excited to share.

We are proud to say that we’ve invested well over half a million dollars in people, facilities, and professional artists since 2013.

We’ve had more than 2000 dancers perform on our stage, over 1200 hours of movies and content projected on our screen, we’ve hosted Juno award-winning musicians, Oscar-winning filmmakers, and dozens of up and coming talents. We’ve helped raise thousands of dollars for local charities and causes, and hundreds of pounds in food donations for organizations on the mountain and in the lower city.

Our greatest rewards come from the countless laughs and immeasurable applause, as well as the continuous positive reviews and frequent 5-star ratings we receive through search engines and social media outlets.

We are excited about a future rich with social and environmental purpose and progress, with a focus on increasingly sustainable employment opportunities, stronger community relationships, new opportunities for artists and performers, and a smaller environmental footprint.
